Q. What can I do to make sure my car has the best chance of passing it's M.O.T.?
There are a number of things you can check before bring your vehicle for it's test. These include:
- Check all the lights, including the fog, side and full beam lights.
- Check the windscreen washer bottle has enough water and that the jets are not blocked.
- Check the windscreen wipers clean the screen properly.
- Check the tyres are fully inflated and have sufficient tread depth.
If necessary put the spare tyre on if it is in better condition that one of those currently on the vehicle.
Q. Do you offer a damage repair service?
We do not have the facilities to do bodywork repairs at our location
but we have a list of preferred suppliers that we are able to recommend.
Q. Do you give free estimates?
Yes we do. Just come along and see us and we can discuss the work required and how much it will cost you.
Q. Is your work guaranteed?
All our work is fully guaranteed.
The length of guarantee depends on the work carried out but all new parts are guaranteed for at least 12 months.
Q. Do you do M.O.T.s while-you-wait?
An M.O.T. test usually takes around 30 minutes so if you make an appointment then you are welcome to wait in our reception area.
We also have a drinks machine for your convenience.
Q. Can I get my car MOT'd before it's current certificate runs out?
Yes you can, in fact it is encouraged by the use of 13 month certificates. If your car passes the test
less than a month before the expiry of it's current certificate then the remaining time is added to the new certificate.
